Sour Creme Apple Pie Back to Recipes

Use our delicious Red Delicious apples for this recipe!

Ingredients:

1 egg
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 tblsp flour
2 1/2 c. grated, red delicious apples
2 tsp lemon juice

Pie Crust Ingredients:

3 c. flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c. crisco
1 egg
5 tbsp water
1 tbsp white vinegar

Instructions:

Mix 1 egg, sour cream, and 1 tsp vanilla until smooth. Blend in 1 cup sugar, 2 tbsp flour. Add 2 1/2 c grated apples and lemon juice. Set aside. For pie crust: Combine flour, salt, crisco, egg, water and white vinegar. Pour apple mixture into pie crust. Bake at 350 degress for about 45 minutes.
