School Trips

This season, we at Billy-Bob's Orchard look forward to spending some time with you. We encourage everyone to get back to nature and enjoy the fresh air!

Below is some information regarding a basic itinerary, our rules and guidelines, pricing information, and a list of available dates and times to schedule a visit. We have found that a one hour tour, followed by a half an hour of apple picking is more than sufficient time for your students to experience a sampling of what Billy-Bob's Orchard has to offer.

Field Trip Activities Include

- A tour of the orchard
- Meet our apple pickers from Jamaica and tour their living quarters
- Optional short lecture with one of our apple experts
- Pick your own 1/4 peck of apples
- Learn songs and sing-a-long with our apple pickers

School Trip Schedule

The times noted below are tentative and subject to change depending upon availability. Rain dates will be available if required.

The following times are available as follows for each day:
Session 1: 8:30 - 9:30am (tour) 9:30-10:00am (picking)
Session 2: 9:45-10:45am (tour) 10:45-11:15am (picking)
Session 3: 12:30-1:30 (tour) 1:30-2:00pm (picking)

Pricing Information

Price includes a tour of the orchard and a 1/4 peck bag to pick their own apples. Chaperones and parents are able to purchase apples in a variety of sizes. Other items may be purchased at the discretion of the teacher or chaperone. These prices may vary.
